MOI**MOI**MOI**

Must admit I'm a bit 'shock~a~tantai' that there have been no admiring comments sent to MOI. At least not as of today. I'm beginning to suspect the hoards of compliments which simply MUST be overloading the Internet have either broken what ever it is that operates this machine or the flock has somehow sabotaged something, to prevent me from reading messages from my fans. Otherwis......

I'm so very sorry that I hadn't noticed until just now that one of the flock was creating havoc, of a sort. Yes, I know, Open and Accepting. But it seems our resident 'diva' hacked into the flock's blog. That is into the ENTIRE flock's blog. Should she have wished to report on something she is involved with, all that would be required was to ask to post. But deciding she wishes to be the blog, another matter entirely. I'm quite at a loss as to how to turn this particular issue around. I mean, confidence is one thing and I encourage all of our flock to take pride in what each is able to accomplish. But it seems there should be a noticeable gap between confidence and egocentric, one would think??? Our Dee has always been a bit 'me me me' so now I suppose Esme and I will have to confer as to how our Dee Vine may be 'right sized'.

By the way, as to Dee Vine thinking her password would be impossible to figure. Have you noted the 'subject' of her posts....EVERY POST? Yep, the password was moimoimoi. Baaa'd choice? Baaa'right!

MOI...MOI...MOI...

Oh, what fun I'm having taking photos of MOI. How is the flock dealing with not understanding why their blog is 'in-accessa-tantai'? I have no idea.....and why should I. They aren't talking about MOI so who cares what they are doing. Perhaps when they 're-aliz-e-tantai' just who is in control of their blog they will begin to understand how 'im-por-tantai' I really am. Anyway, enough about them, BACK TO MOI. I took 2 more 'snap-a-tantais' and here they are.......I'm thinking of hiring a press photographer though, this machine truly doesn't do MOI justice....

Now this last picture was taken by the HC. She had created the boa I have 'en-circle-en-tantai' MOI. But ONCE AGAIN, these creatures just don't pay attention when I grace them with my perfect fashion insight. She made the boa with a fiber which was similar to my fleece. So you really can't see how beautiful I look wearing the boa. I wore it just so she would leave. {I did have to remove that tacky fleece ovine from the picture. HC insisted it be in the photograph, so just ignore the odd colors.}

OK, I've Been Silent Long Enough!

I've noticed all the other posts the posting names are small. But ONCE AGAIN, its up to me to point out, my name should be seen and LARGE. Certainly, few would fail to recognize My Divine self, I am after all, Dee Vine. {I explained all that in the most important introduction on Meet the Ovines.}

I've taken note that Noah, The Grey One, is campaigning for the position of Easter Creature 2012 and has asked Mr Sparkles to be his CM. I find this a bit annoying since although I have been ridiculed since my arrival, they choose an Ovine with the same fleece I wear.  Because I 'am' THE FIRST SPECTACULAR OVINE IN THE FLOCK WITH LUXURIOUS COLORFUL FLEECE. Mr Sparkles arrived long after I made my debut. I live in the same flock as the candidate but he choose a CM on the other side of the country! But none of this treatment of moi, surprises me at all. 

 Its all about jealousy~and who can really blame the flock. To achieve anything close to my sense of style, brilliant conversational skills, and magnetic personality must be daunting, if not impossible. Which no doubt has led to the flock behaving rudely and just leaving me out of their games.

Two incidences of which I have photographic proof! Now some may not have realized my difficulty with the current banner photo. {Should you read this at a later date all banner photos are archived on our 'Photo Banner Page'}. To assist you gaining a complete understanding of my issue about this photo, I explain the TRUTH, under the photo.

When we posed for our formal 'Duncan Lake' photo in 2009 I SUGGESTED we all face West, it is my best side after all. But since the rest had already decided to look East~~well, I ended up being the only Ovine facing in the CORRECT direction. I'm posed nicely at the left top end of the dock. From clockwise  facing the WRONG direction? At the 1100 position, Esme the Ewe and at 0100 Noah, The Grey One {I hope he listens to his Campaign photographer better than he did ME}, 0300 Ellis the Ram, 0400 Callopie, 0500 Sullivan, 0800 Herzig and at 0900 Piper. Now I realized most would believe I was the one at fault. So I correct your reasoning now! I am the ONLY Ovine who understood the important of the photo being snapped from MY BEST SIDE.

During that same trip it was decided that we ALL should pick berries. Why? There was endless MLGV where ever one stepped. I AGAIN explained this fact to the flock who ignored my flawless insight. And YET AGAIN, they picked berries. I on the other hand took the logical course of taking a bit of leisure time on the swing. Don't you just know they posted this picture explaining I didn't wish to associate with them in their berry nonsense. They posted MY photo on some twit nit sight calling me a Diva!!!

Well, I've had quite enough of their behavior. So I am going to begin my own campaign in the flock. I'm toying with running for MOST DELICIOUS DIVA or OVINE OF DE~VINE or even DIFFERENT IS FAR SUPERIOR TO BEING AVERAGE. {I haven't really decided which 'crown' might suit me best and must be careful to choose which is best~~~~as obviously I will be the winner}.

Technical Problems Creating Campaign Material !

The ECCH crew has been working 'ears to tail' creating banners, signs and working on the party Platform. The Platform draft we are very pleased with, and will post about it and put it on our Campaign 2012 page~very soon.

The other tasks were going well but we were suddenly being plagued with technical issues due to our Campaign Materials Software. Callopie, our Office Manager, had done research and found a company offering a great deal. So we ordered it and got to work. All went off without a hitch, we thought. But when we later opened them up to finalize and print-things weren't as we had 'saved' them. We investigated the entire ECCH staff but no one had been on the computer so no ovine action seemed to be responsible for the problems. The first problem we noticed was a line which appeared on a sign we were planning. The two small photos here show what we saw when we opened the saved file.

Also, don't misunderstand, we like purple very much. Purple is one of our favorite colors. But we didn't put the little purple line there! Plus the color purple from the 'before' was different from the color purple in the 'after'. Noah, The Grey One, is normally our 'figure it out via research' ovine. But he was in the Dennison Pasture with his Campaign Manager Mr Sparkles working on campaign strategies. Himhe and Ovi spent a few days at the computer trying everything they could to find the answers but finally had to admit, they had no answers.

So we asked our Callopie for the information on the software and where she had procured the product. After a bit of time on the computer she had all the information we needed. The software we purchased came from Campaign Design Software Co. owned by UBuyWeNoSupport Inc. They had a live chat line we could go to, which we had no doubt would explain and give solutions for our problems. At least that is what we hoped. Before we started our live chat and knowing our HC has often used such resources for many items she has purchased, it was decided we get some pointers on the best approach with this method.

That is when we first heard the word~~~the name~~~MUQBAR. Based on our HC's reaction...the flock realized.....we might be in big trouble.

RESTED AND READY

It has been a wonderful few days up at the house having 'me' time. If not for Esme such time would be beyond reach. But I felt ready to return to the pasture and deal with the day to day issues of my flock. I had spent the few days guarding the house, just in case the flood waters returned. My HC's daily struggle with the maintenance of the property, for sale and belonging to her MPU/late PPU, was taking its toll. 2 years of organizing and clearing possessions as well as moving items to storage, dumpster, mission and co~locating other items. Maintaining the property which included an in ground swimming hole. And Lawn Serf duties. All in all she does it all by herself with help at times from friend Gobel. Gobel who accompanied the KOO on their first outing. But I knew the toll it has taken on her body and soul, so guarding the house and cheering her on when she works is a high priority for me and all in the flock. Plus Ellis time was long overdue. But now it was time to return.

As shown in my banner photo, my last task was assisting in the collection of Lilacs which grow in the yard. My HCs late father always gathered bunches of Lilacs to fill the house for Polly and the family. So I was bringing home not only flowers but memories for the nose and the soul for Polly and my HC. Then the 3 of us piled in the car. 3 of us? That would be me, my HC and.............THE 4LCC. Always a challenge as 'space etiquette' is a concept lacking with 4LCCs.

But once my HC was behind the wheel and buckled up she noticed my space was seriously invaded so she asked and I accepted a change of venue. As befitted my position and status I found my seat on the dashboard, safely positioned despite lack of seat belt, we would be careful.

We arrived safely home, took the Lilacs inside and the HC fed the 4LCC. {Which if the 4LCC had a vote would be a 24/7 evolution}. Now onto my flock duties....

OVERWHELMED WITH CHOICES

As each day passes since our return from the beach, the flock has been bombarded with several issues, some of which have been written or alluded to in previous posts....from previous posters. {The author sort of poster not the paper ones of various sizes on endless subjects} Ah yes, the issues.

1. We are still debating the selection of who in the flock will get to travel to Malice Domestic which is the end of this month. Esme and I are 'old hooves' at this wonderful weekend so the fact we are actually going to take a few of the flock has created quite a bleating throughout the pasture. Which has now resulted in a missing ovine. Yes, Callopie seems to have disappeared. No we don't believe she has been lamb~napped. She had, in her usual non stop way, begun asking to go to Malice. After several times telling her we would consider it but she have to wait with the flock and would know when the others did....well she had a baaa'd tantrum. The next morning Sullivan, who is normally quite calm, woke us quite frantic. When he woke his little sister Callopie wasn't with him, they sleep side by side. Sullivan apparently searched throughout the pasture with no luck. With good fortune we will soon post of finding Callopie and the reason for her disappearance, but I suspect she is safe and simply hiding.

2. Yes, Piper seems to again be afflicted by his VDD {Vegetable Detachment Disorder}. After our session with Ellis, after which our MTF had a session with Piper, things seemed to be returning to normal. But just yesterday we woke up to find him sitting in his usual spot in the pasture in his EGGPLANT outfit. When Herzig tried to speak to him, she said he made strange noises. And wouldn't respond as normal. Apparently Herzig hadn't been aware of this, a symptom noticed during Piper's last VDD problem. Others in the flock since have told Herzig that Piper was speaking in EGGPLANT. {A language our Piper seems to have developed himself-that is our guess as we have never heard an Eggplant actually speak. Come to think of it none of us has ever heard a carrot speak, or a cabbage speak, broccoli? No, radish? No.... Come to think of it, I can't think of a vegetable we have ever heard utter a sound. Except a sizzle from the pan-Piper would be very upset if he read this so I'll leave it at that, sizzle!} So a post or several will be coming dealing with this issue.

3. The KOO have been progressing quite nicely in their world of firsts. And GFBFHD, newly returned from her POO {Point of Origin-Devon, England}, has conveyed that Mr Sparkles~of the Dennison Flock in California seems to be thrilled at learning of the KOO. Which means we may be selecting them as part of the Adventure to Malice Domestic for Mr Sparkles pleasure. We may speak to Noah and Ovi about more intensive EDUCATION to prepare them for interacting with numerous HCs as well as Ovines from several flocks.

Well, those are just 3 of the issues Esme and I are juggling at the moment. Being the head of flock is most certainly a FULL TIME job. Esme and I hope to assign the reporting on these and other situations to others in the Pasture very soon, in order to keep all informed of life in our Pasture.
